Just leaving the recruiting center with the Marine recruiter and three other poulees. They decided they wanted food. McDonald was the closest thing… And they wanted it. I refused to eat. That is so gross. Heart attacks waiting to happen. Each guy in this car got three mcchickens. Eww! Oh well. I have water, I’m happy.

Is It Really A Natural Habitat?

Sometimes it’s good to get out of your natural habitat. I mean, it isn’t good to always be comfortable. You have to get out of your element and explore in life.

Getting out of your comfort zone can be the simplest of tasks. Do something you wouldn’t normally do. If you are quiet and hardly talk to anyone, make an effort to talk to a random person. You never know what might happen. You might meet the man, or woman, of your dreams. Maybe just a good friend that happens later on.

You can be in your natural habitat and still be unhappy, you might not even know it because you are so used to being there. So if you get out you can find out!

Explore life. It is the only one you get after all. Might as well make this one count for something. Make it so you will look back on it in years to come and say to yourself, “yeah, a had a good life. I made it great.”

You can do this from anywhere you come in life; the streets, the ghetto, class b family, high class living, etc.

Your life is what you make it to be. Enjoy being you an help yourself grow.

Clouds Below, Not Above

Flying high above the clouds is a terrifying, yet amazing, experience. One that takes an airplane adventure, may in fact, experience this event. It is a surreal feeling to look down on the clouds when one is so used to looking up at them.

The towns look very tiny from up here, in the great vast sky.

Airports

This is my first time traveling alone on an airplane. Actually my first time traveling alone as is, let alone in the plane. The airport smells of soap and is freezing. There are hundreds of people, many not very friendly; at least ones I have encountered. Languages I’ve never heard before I am not hearing. This is going to be very interesting.

Way to go for new experiences! Time for the new adventure to begin!

Melted Crayola Crayon Art

Do you like art? Are you a “hands on” type of person? If you are, than here is some fun for you! This is also fun for children, with parental guidance of course.

Melted Crayon Art:

What is needed:
-Crayola Crayons
-Blank Canvas
-Hot Glue Gun
-Blow Dryer

Instructions:

1. Glue crayons in the pattern you wish the colors to melt into. For example; the rainbow, from red to purple across the top of the canvas.

2. Once the gun is dry and the crayons are all set, you want to lean the canvas back at a 45 degree angle. The crayons should be at the top of the canvas.

3. Use the blow dryer on hot to melt the colored crayons.

4. Once melted to your liking, turn off dryer and wait for it to cool off.

5. You now have a unique piece of art that you created! Show it off to your friends!!

Great Grandma Care Gone Bad

I went and visited my great grandmother today. She is 89 years old. A few weeks ago she fell and broke her hip. She has been put into a health care home where she is monitored 24/7 but verified nurses.

This was my first time visiting her and I almost cried. I also got very mad at the people that worked there. I snapped at a lady that was supposed to be getting pain pills for my great grandmother, it took her over twenty minutes to get it. I looked for her three times to get the pills. This was awful.

You could hear screams and moans of pain throughout the building from her room. Room 56. I have come to the conclusion that when I get old where I can not take care of my self and people are going to put me away, I would rather die than have that happen.

Prior to the pain medicine, she had to go to the bathroom and since she had broken her hip from falling she needs help. It took then over and hour to come and help her go to the bathroom. She went in her pants on accident an tarted crying because she was embarrassed. What kind of people would do that to an innocent old lady that never causes trouble?! This made me furious! She had been begging for help because she really had to go.

This was a very saddening experience, and now I worry of my great grandmother even more. Those people are not taking care of her like they should be.

Things To Do

Is it just me, or is everyone always busy? Especially these days. Friends, family, and even random people you meet always seem to have plans and you don’t. Maybe this is just me.

I have decided that I need to become a busy person. Not just doing things, but by doing things that need to be done. things like college prep work, paperwork, and running errands.

These things do not seem as much fun as you would expect them to be. I mean, some people really love paperwork, but me… I could do without honestly.

I need to busy my life a bit more than what it is. Any suggestions not listed?

McDonalds and the Names

There are many names for what people call McDonald sandwiches. There are mc doubles, mc chickens, by what if you put the sandwiches together? You get an epiphany of amazing masterpieces! Or so some will say. Personally I think it’s a health problem waiting to happen.

When you get a mcchicken and put it in between a mcdouble, you get a mcgangbang. There are also a few ore names for this sandwich concoction, such as; mcdickin, mcchigger, and a mcchubble. All odd names… But they work for the ultimate McDonald critic!

Seattle: A City of Talent

Seattle, known for its coffee, the pike place market, and of course the space needle. These are three main parts of Seattle, Washington. Besides the rain, and zombies of course!

Seattle’s best coffee and Starbucks coffee are both the main coffee spots in Seattle. Almost every other corner has a coffee shop. This is good if you are always needing a caffeine fix.

The pike place market is a very famous market. Mostly known for its flowers, fresh produce, and of course the fish throwers in the fish market section. There is something for everyone in the pike place market. Shopping, food, pastries, seafood, flowers, etc.

Finally, the space needle. Seattle wouldn’t be complete without the space needle. It has been an icon since it was first built. When people think space needle, Seattle is the first thing that pops into mind. If you ever get a chance to visit, I recommend it!

Seattle is made up of everything from history, to coffee, to musical hotspots on corner, to amazing food eateries. The market is always buzzing, the streets are always flowing with cars, and people are on the move constantly. If you like the busy lifestyle, Seattle is the place for you!
