The Unknown

So.. I sit here thinking, well actually I think about this everyday, about the future. It probably isn’t a healthy fixation to think about each an everyday, but sometimes that is all you have. The future is based on the choices that you make in the past and present. What if those choices weren’t made by you? What if you were thrown into the mix against your will? Well, the rules still apply. What happened in the past effects the future you will be faced with.

With each day that passes, and the continuation of each week, graduation, and me starting “adult” life, is just around the corner. Am I ready to under go the transformation of living with my grandparents to living on my own? Truthfully, I do not know. What I do know is that I will give it all my best shot. Life is to be lived by me, not others through me. Soon I start living.

Homemade Tortillas Anyone?

Yesterday I learned how to make homemade corn tortillas from a family friend here in Mexico. It was an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. It was fun, easy, and afterward yummy! I believe that homemade anything is better. You know what you are eating, the ingredients in it, and how long it’s been sitting out. Needless to say I am quite content. This morning I will be eating warm corn tortillas with butter and honey. (: great way to start out a day! If anyone wants the recipe, let me know. I have it handy. It is very easy and only calls for two ingredients, but also two well working hands.

Sunsets on Gonzaga

Have you watched a sunset? All the colors of oranges, blues, yellows, pinks, purples, etc. all blending together. It’s so beautiful. If you haven’t taken the time out in life to watch a sunset, I think you should. It’s a breath taking sight.

Sitting in a lawn chair on the beach at night. It’s pitch black out. Enjoying the sound of the waves, rough yet soothing. The night starry sky all around me. Engulfing the noises of the night. It is a magnificent night on the Baja (:

“Blowin’ Tires”

Within an hour of traveling to Gonzaga from San Felipe, our traveling buddy had his tire blow out. We got it to the side turn off to change the tire. Good thing he had a few spares with him! It’s just another experience on the Baja. Back on the road again!

Going Away For A Few Days

Well, I’m going away for a few days. I won’t have Internet so I won’t be able to update in WordPress. But I will have much to talk about later on (: well time to finish packing things up. Then get some rest. Good night WordPress, hello camping!

Ultra Whating?!

Ultra lighting! It’s not a common known thing. But it is an adrenaline pumping experience!

An ultra light is basically a hang glider attached to a go cart with a propeller motor in the back of it. It’s amazing and fun! I recommend this experience to any and every one! It is truly amazing.

¿Duck In Mexico?

My grandparents, my friend, and I wet out to dinner yesterday night. Out of random, a duck came waddling across the high way and down the dirt road. It was very random an the first duck I’ve seen in Mexico! So I followed it and took a photo. I got a few feet from it. It was quite exciting in a way!

My classes in school have been giving me issues due to the fact that the system was hacked and I’m not not in the system…. I hope you understand.
